Basically I have a small, (but red) spot, smack bang in the centre of my filtrum (the bit under your nose, above the lip). Anyways, this looks so stupid, it's one of the worst places it could be, and it's been near enough 2 months and it hasn't changed at all. Still red, still there.

Is it scarring? I really hope not, cos that would destroy all my confidence in a second, and that would be disasterous.

Thanks in advance.

If you really think that a single small red spot under your nose will destroy your confidence then you could also have a mental problem. Without a picture I can't tell you exactly what that spot could be but I am sure that there is no need for panic.

You could consult your GP first and then a dermatologist, if necessary.
