Dear forum members, almost 2 and a half days ago my boyfriend and I had sex, and as I left him he noticed the condom was not on him. It was inside me, but the ring was not. It was entirely outside of me (kinda like how a woman condom works). I took it out immediately and went the the bathroom and wiped well. I had also ended my period 2 days before. (so, day 11 for me is the first day that ovulation may occur). Later that night I had a horrible stomach ache (that I hope was just some bad food). Should I go and buy plan B from the pharmacy? this morning was 48 hrs away from the day this happened and tomorrow will be 72. someone please tell me if i'm ok...or if i should buy plan B or if i'm just scared.

hey talksalot, if your worried about getting pregnant you should think about the morning after pill. I'm expecting my first and the doctors told me that the nausea or morning sickness doesn't hit until around a month. The sick feeling I think you are getting is from stress. Have a hot bubble bath and order your boyfriend to give you a shoulder massage and see if the sick feeling goes away. The thing to look for if still worrying your pregnant is plantation bleeding. A little discharge of blood around 4-10 after "seed" has been planted.

thanks
thank you for ur advice and time. I will buy plan b tomorrow. although it will be past that 72 hr mark. I have heard that you should take it within 5 days, but taking the pill within even 72 hrs is even better. idk, but having that is better than nothing at all. thanks once again.

You can never be too safe. I would try Plan B, it can definitely still be effective for up to five days. Also, don't freak out if the hormones from Plan B mess with your cycle-- you may miss a period or have heavy bleeding. It sometimes takes even 3 months for your cycle to get back to normal.

Just take the morning after pill as an extra precaution because, like I said, its never a bad thing to be too safe.
