Hello, I am 19 years old 5'6", and 235 pounds. I am worried that I might be showing some symptoms of diabetes. I have not had any drastic weight changes recently, but I have noticed frequent and urgent urination as well as abnormal swelling in my feet. I have an appointment with a doctor who specialized in diabetes next week, but I am very anxious and would like some advice on what to do until then. Other information: I spend at least 8 hours a day on my feet and have recently changed the dosage of one of my medications, as well as having just started to take oral contraceptives.

Your feet problem will go away after one or 2 visits to doctor. But its my advice as well wisher, try different natural methods to reduce your weight. You can enjoy your life in healthy way. Eat fruits, drink more water, avoid greasy food, exercise regularly.
