I had a man crush me with his knee on the left side of my lower ribs, the bruising appeared the next day which was actually very little but the pain began and very strange feelings and sharp pains when moving from sitting to standing or standing to laying down positions. The pain appears localized around the side of the bottom 3 or 4 ribs. Feels better in the morning than in the evening.

I've read about possible diaphretic rupture but I seem to be breathing fine and the area under my solar plexus doesnt hurt and expands and contracts I can take deep breaths without moving my shoulders and with almost no pain. The more non pain sore achey feeling I can feel if I try to straighten my posture or bend backwards.

I want to know if what I'm experincing is most likely just the pain associated with simple bruised ribs and other than a diaphretic rupture what other injurys or hernias are possible from a a knee with a mans body weight of about 200lbs going into that part of the ribs and if I should be going to the hospital, its been one week since the injury.
