Hi there me and my fiance have been trying for to conceive for 6 months i have a problem with urine infection i get them constantly.i have been sent away for kidney scans to try and determined the problem. They have given me many different tablets over the past 2 years such as keflex which i am currently taking. They have also given me before, efficitrate, trimthroprin and macrodantin also known as nitrofurantoin. Please could you tell me if i am taking atleast 2 courses of one of them each month could it be effecting our chances of conceiving and if so please could you advise me on what to do..

Several sites I visited mentioned that antibiotics can affect sperm production in males but I could not find anything that said it can affect fertility in women.
