Q: conception on first day or period ?

I am almost 100 percent certain that i became pregnant on the third of march , which was also the first day of my period that month. In addition i also had my full 5 day flow that i am used to.I have been to the doctors and i am pregnant but even she says that i am probably mistaken about the date of conception. The chances however of me being off are almost impossible (except for the sperm waiting around thing i have read about but that means 6 or more days and i don't think that can happen). I am now wondering how rare it is to conceive at this time , and if there are any additional concerns i should be having about my pregnancy because of it .

many women ovulate several times a month and at different times during the menstrual cycle as well...the day count the doctors use is an avg...it is possible that you ovulated more than once that month or even a bit late...your first ultrasound should be able to tell you how far long you are as long as you are 7ish or more weeks along, less than that and it isn't as accurate...
