ok, so i have been taking the depo shot for a little over 5 years. i've been late on some shots but have never missed a month. pregnancy has never entered my 'plan' with my life until now. i haven't had a normal period since before i started, the most has been spotting for a day or 2, 4 times since i started the shot. i have been clean for 2 months, living in a wonderful sober relationship and we want a baby. my ob/gyn had informed me of abnormal cells (hpv) in my cervix but not sever enough to worry, so my questions are:
how likely is it for me to coneive?
how long will it take?
how do i know if i'm infertile?
if i do conceive, what are the chances of a miscarriage?
are there any ways of ridding my body of the depo sooner, increasing a chance?

i don't think i could take trying for 2 years or however long and failing constantly. honest, factual answers will help me in determining whether or not to crush our dreams of reproducing. i appreciate any info anyone has.

thank you

hoping.
