Ive been seeing an obgyn and he tells me iam healthy and everything is fine. We both want a little baby of our own. (we take care of his brothers 2 year old He has been living with my fiance since he was 8 weeks old) we know how much a kid cost and we are financially stable. You have monthly checkups? What do they do in these check ups?

well for me they do a pap smear every 3 months. mostly health stuff like heart. blood. then i have ultrasounds on my ovaries about twice a year. they have done an exploratory surgery last november they made sure i didn't have endometriosis and they ask questions. For him i have no idea because i dont go with him i stay with trey(his brothers 2 year old) but he brings me results from test and an overall health check up sheet that his doctor makes for him.

Do you have HPV or something? Pap smears every 3 months isn't normal. Sounds like you have other health issues?

Well, I am 17, and just found out I am pregnant. It took me less than a month to conceive. Try to have sex 14 days into your cycle. So if you were like me, my period lasts 30 days. I expected my period on May 24th. I had sex on the 9th of May. That is 15 days into my cycle. but close enough. Try to have sex 2 days before and after this. If you post again, or message me, let me know the day of your last period, and I can try to help you plan it out. Also there are little things like lying on your back ten minutes after sex with legs in the air, and little things like that to help you conceive. Please message me your last period date! I would love to help!!!

Slow down! It is so hard sometimes to be really unbiased when young adults choose to conceive. Then you have the ones that conceive because of carelessness and/or other situations. They are scared and they have know idea whats ahead of them. Sweetheart I might be considered harsh in saying this but at no way shape or form are you ready at 16 to have a child. No, I do not know your financial situation but have you heard the shape our economy is in? You have so much life ahead of you. Why not stop and smell the roses along your path to adulthood? I know it is so normal to long for a child and especially have one with the one you love. Circle of love! I get it I dont condemn you for your feelings. Just grow up first. Enjoy being a teenager!

I still think 16 is wayyyy to young to have a baby. Its hard enough for many at 19, or older. I see little point to trying to push something that many girls your age desperately try to find a way out of.

This poster, may well have parental consent and its is very noble to take care of a someone elses child when your so young BUT this girl has been trying for a baby since she was 14 years old and just to make it that little bit worse she had only been with her boyfriend for 6 months when she began!!!!.Now good on her that her relationship has lasted and i do have alot of respect for her and her partner for taking care of his familly like that but anyone can see that 14 year old girls who have just started a relationship shouldnt try for babys and this girl should think herself very lucky that she hasnt yet concieved because if she had that boyfriend she has would now be in prison a place im sure he doesnt deserve to be. he should be carrying on taking care of his niece/nephew.As the doctor says your perfectly healthy i wouldnt worry at all about it when the times right you will get your little one

any obgyn trying to help a 16 year old get pregnant has to be a nut. Its just selfish to try and have a baby now. You already have the burden of these other children and whilst noble it would still take away from what you could give your own child.

mariee she may sound ready but its still going to be hard, as you will soon find out. no one is 100% prepared to be a mom lest of all a teenager.

Well, being a tee had NOTHING to do with it. This girl does not live the life of a teen, she lives the life of an ADULT. So, she is as ready as anyone else. Being a parent is hard no matter what, so it makes more sense to just leave age out of the matter. =]

if shes already living the life of an adult at 16 she shouldnt be actively trying to make it rougher than it already is.

I really hope that was a joke,A baby isnt some new toy that you can through in the cuboard when its no fun anymore,If thats what you expecting from motherhood then your in for a big shock! because its 80% hard work there are good times too and your going to need to cling to those when youve been awake 16 hours and your babys screaming again,it wont stop just because youve had enough now.And i have tried to encourage you since you are now expecting marie but i was deeply shocked that you seemed to approve of a 14 year old girl trying for a baby although going off your last statment on this thread i dont know why i was shocked
