I had hernia surgery Dec 22, 2011, the outcome was great. However since surgery I keep getting sores on the incision. The first one was very tiny, thought it was just a stitch. Now about every two weeks a blister like sore will develop over the incision. Each time right before the sore develops, stinging pain and swelling starts close to the incision. When the blister burst, there is yellow pus and dark blood, then turning to bright red blood. Afterwards, my abdomen is very sore for about 30 mins to hour, then everything returns to normal. Only to start up again in a few days. This last week two blister which were much larger, causing a lot more pain developed. I have called my surgeon, they have never heard of anything little this, but will see me if I think I need it. This has happened five times since my surgery. HUMMM lol Has anyone every had anything like this? Does anyone know about Mesh rejection or Mesh infection? I don't go to the doctor unless I need to, so maybe someone can say me a trip!! lol
