Is there any chance after being insulin dependent for type 2 diabetes for years to find another way of treatment and come off insulin and all meds?

Hi it is a very nice question, but it really will depend on the patient and some other factors, in any case an expert may be the only one able to create a new treatment without using insulin. For example My grandma used insulin for some time, and later her endocrinologist changed its treatment for some pills that she take before every meal. So it is possible to start a new tretment without insuline, but not in al cases.
