hello i had my little one in march o7 at my 6 week check i went on the depo injection decided to come off it in june 08 to try for another baby didnt know it would be so hard my doctor told me on average periods come back after 6 months i had my first period in dec 08 on was on it for about 3 weeks only a light / medium one. Before i had the injection i was 28 days every time give or take a couple off days so i expected my next period about 2 weeks ago but nothing came i got excited thinking it had happened but did the test and it was negitive gutted but read in the leaflet that you can test to early sometimes if the hormoan level isnt high enough so did another test a week later still negitive going out off my mind please help Crying or Very sad

i'm kinda going threw the same.. i was on it till may and my periods and my horomons are threw the roof.. i am finally comming back this will be 6 months so hopefully in feb or march we can get preg.. but its very devestating geting excited and teh test saying its neg.. its breaks your heart

I came off my injection in april this yr and started my period 3 months later and still not preg.. was told it could take up 2 12 months just gonna have 2 wait and see..

I know this is a late reply, but i have come of my injection 2 months ago, i had my period 2 weeks after my last injection and now i am expecting my next (counted 28days) but as of yet...nothing. We are desperate for a baby but i am worrying now after reading that it could take up to two years!! I'm devestated!

Hi I was on depo after having my 2nd child I was on it for two and a half years. I was told it could take up to a year to completely come out of my system. When I came of it we were planing a pregnancy within the coming year. I had my period a couple of days after my injection was due, I didn't have another one, my daughter was born 10 months after I came off depo.

Everyone is different and are affected at different levels. So good luck I hope all goes well and you have a BFP very soon ;o)
