I had been taking the depo injection for about 18 months. Everything was great but i decided to come off it as i had heard stories that it takes longer to conceive once you come off of it. My doctor put me on microgynon 30 pill. I have been taking these for 10 days now. For the last 4 days i have had severe cramps, feeling sick and generally unwell. Could this be a symptom off coming off the depo or is it a side effect of the pill? Please can some one help Sad

i got off the depo this month, but i only had one shot. i was bleeding for 1 1/2 months. im taking a birth control pill called mircette and everything is fine. but different people get different symptoms. for example your body was able to deal with the depo shot, and my body wasnt.
i think it could be the new birth control. if this continues i would ask your doctor to put you on something else, or take a break. its up to you.
one thing you can do is go to the search engine and find out about the side effects of your birth control.
