My gyno called this week and told me there was a very very slight abnormality with my pap smear, i have to go in this week for a Colposcopy, i'm somewhat worried even though she told me don't be at all. Has anyone had one of these before? i'm worried about the actual procedure itself (if it's painful or uncomfortable) and also the results of course. scared

about a colposcopy
it really is nothing to be worried about. they just take samples that feel doesn't really hurt (pinch like). an use a magnifying type machine. and colored like liquid to take a better look. hope this helps. =)
