Hi, had a colposcopy done on the 17th of September, it went well then on the 24th I started bleeding very heavily. Went in to hosp en was told it was my period. But now over 2weeks later am still bleeding slightly is this normal?

Welcome to ehealthforum.
If there were no other procedures done for you that involved cervix manipulation, then the colposcopy will not cause you to have prolonged bleeding (also the bleeding started after a week). Since the bleeding has continued for more than 10 days, other hormonal issues might be involved. Consider getting a detailed check done by your gynecologist to look for underlying cause for the prolonged bleeding.
