Our colon is really vulnerable. almost everyday we put trash inside our body and our colon gets the beating from the

chemicals that we intake. Degradation of our colon health can be seen by so many symptoms like constipation, gas and etc.

there's a way to help improve our colon health.

Gas is good, it indicates the presence of normal bacterial flora of the colon.

An even better method of improving colon health is eating well, with a variety of non-starch foods including leafy vegetables, wheats, lentils etc. This improves transit time and increases the bulk of faeces to reduce constipation. There is also new evidence that non-starch polysaccharides may prevent colonocytes from becoming cancerous.

If you have a history of colon cancer, you should see your gastroenterologist or proctologist.
