It is my understanding that silver in suspension kills over five hundred types of bacteria, molds, fungi, and even cancer. I have read pages of testimonials on many websites supporting these theories - yet can find no relevant date that is current - or find out about any studies actually determining the efficacy of this really inexpensive treatment modality. I am aware that until the introduction of antibiotics in the late thirty's silver was a universal cure - but since it is a non-patentable product - the fda in conjunction with Big pharma have made it unavailable to the American Public. With a new administration facing trememdous fiscal problems related to Health Care - wouldn't you think the cdc could put 50Million into determining if $1 worth of colloidal silver could cure a patient with hiv or the common cold? Or is it more important to keep "researchers" in their jobs than to cure all of the diseases they are researching. Keep in mind - there are more people in cancer research, pharmaceuticals, and treatment, then HAVE THE DISEASE! Is this what we've gotten to - and are we going to settle for this?
