Why would surgery be scheduled then
cancelled after patient is informed half
of colon is dead? bleeding ulcers were
taken care of but colon has not been. what
could have changed to bring about such a
drastract change?

I don't really know too much about this
topic, but maybe the patient should just
ask why: he has the right to know the
extent of his condition and if it is still
operable or not.
I will copy this topic over to the
Stomach/Ulcers/Colon disorders and see if
you don't find more answers there.
