For the past 2 yrs, 6 months after a very serious auto accident and 4 mo after dx. with sjogren's syndrome, I began getting a sensation of ice cold almost frozen in the left side of my face and left side of my mouth and tongue to include my teeth. In the last 3-4 months I have felt "bands" of coldness in my left wrist and left ankle. In the last month it is now extending additionally down the lft arm, when I swallow saliva it feels cold going down my esophagus although I know it is not. Now I am feeling the sensation on the left AND right side of my body to my torso. My wrists hurt as do my ankles. I have also experienced intermittent salty taste for the 2 yrs. MRI head is negative. Had a chiropractic neurologist XR my spine and he said the entire vertebrae are a mess. Wonder about a compressed nerve. Right now neuro says don't need an MRI of spine, not warranted. At 22 mo of age (I am now 62 and 1/2 yrs) I had complete flaccidity of the lefts ide of my boday x 10 days after a hi fever, called it virus X. Could this be related. I'm at a loss. t is not stress when it is continuously there the majority of the time and I'm not stressed about anything but these symptoms. Have OCD, depression, Sjogren's. sarcoid of lung, mod. heart failure found AFTER this all started, on BP medication, GERD. Any ideas-frustrated to say the least!
