My 19yr old son woke up in cold sweats three times tonight but has no fever and nothing hurts. He was in bed on Monday all day with a migraine. Which I (his mother) suffers from. He is a college baseball player so he is in pretty good health I would say, but this is profound to me. I have 4 children and I don't think I have faced this before. What could be wrong?

Hello and thank you for your post on e health forum.

It is very difficult to analyse your sons condition without any major symptoms.

Since he has no other signs or symptoms, it could be some psychological issues.

In case the symptoms recur, he might benefit by consulting a doctor, who can elicit a complete history and get some basic tests done to rule out the exact cause.

I hope this helps.
