whenever i eat or drink anything with oranges i get canker sores. well this time it's more up on my lip but still on the inside. it's not really oozy or anything like that. it's not really scabbing but yesterday i rubbed some baking soda on it the the white came out and left a hole. now it's covered with some yellowish thing and theres not any others like it surrounding the area. and as far as I know cold sores occur on the outside of the mouth right?
is it possible to infect a canker sore?

People don't reply on here too quickly.

Still sounds like a canker sore to me. Canker sores are inside the mouth, usually flat. Cold sores are outside, get crusty, ooze etc. Both take about 7-10 days to heal. I've never heard of rubbing baking soda on them - maybe the abrasiveness of eh baking soda made it worse?
