Hi everyone,

I'm a 16 year old boy and I want to know how I can get accustomed to cold climates since I'm almost always cold except during spring and summer Sad . Will simply choosing to not put on more clothes when I feel cold help?

Here are a few possible explanations as to why I feel cold all the time, lol:
1. I'm not underweight, but I'm on the skinny side of normal weight, I'm 145 lbs and 5 foot 11.
2. I was born in Hawaii and growing up there probably did not toughen my body for the cold, moist climate of Washington state.

Yes, you are a little bit underweight. You should not try to do without adequate clothing in the cold or it will set up health problems. Eat warm food such as soup and carbs and keep moving around!

So I can't get more "accustomed to the cold" by subjecting myself to coldness? Alright then, I guess I try drinking lots of soup since I like soup Smile

So do I! Smile Actually, in all seriousness, exercise is probably the best way to keep warm but make sure you are properly dressed for it and, of course, warmed up properly!
