Coke withdrawals last Posted: 03-10-08 21:04pm
Ok so someone I know has been off of coke
for approx. 3 months, but he's getting
these killer stomach aches, on and off.
When he first quit he noticed that his
stomach would flip, and that's when the
pain started. We've associated it as a
symptom of withdrawal, but aren't sure...
After 3 months, do you still go through
that?? Any help would be really
appreciated... Thanks.

This is normal. It depends on how much of
a snorter he was. It is hell for sure. If
you are a casusal user it is a little
easier. My son used all the time then went
to crack. But, was able to stop on his own
like in your case. Normally, an everyday
user more then once a day, needs rehab. It
is a tough road to get clean. But, if he
is determined to stop, then he will stay
clean. The temptation will always be there
but, willpower is the key. And I agree
that this is probably a systom of
withdrawl.
I wish him the best of luck,
Carrie

Even I had to ask my son about this. He
was on coke for 3 years. He said that it
takes about three days in bed wraped up in
a blanket with nothing to eat. Then after
three days it is over. He also said that
it should be out of your systom by then
too.

I agree with Ms. Carrie. in addition,
never fear checking with your physician
for help and advice. being hooked is
hard....a good 12 step program can also
keep you safe and sober. best of luck!
