I'm not sure exactly how to describe this,
as it's happening to my mother. In
November 2006, she became very ill and
ended up in hospital on a breathing
machine for about 3 weeks. Ever since
she's been home, she's been complaining
about this "crap" on her throat. She'll
start coughing and then gagging to the
point of rocking in her chair. I've never
seen what she brings up, but she says it
tastes awfully bitter. She also had bad
pneumonia while she was in hospital and at
first she was told it was "leftover
pneumonia" coming up. I don't think that's
the problem now... it's been over a year
and half now. I would just like some
suggestions or thoughts of what it COULD
be. Any help is appreciated!
