So, this is my 3rd baby within 3 1/2 years.
I've had 2 drug free labors & deliveries.

Both of my previous daughters were born at 37wks.

At 35wks, i began to dilate(to 1cm) & thin. I was put on restrictive duties & 5 days later, at 36wks, i had dilated to 2cm & was 50% effaced.
I stayed the same at 37wks, but at my appt yesterday(38wks1d) she told me i was a FULL 3cm!

She thinks it's AMAZING that i seem to dilate without any pain.

What i'm wondering is how long do you think it's possible to stay 3cm without labor kicking in like...tomorrow?! LOL!

i was 3 cm for about 3 weeks and delivered at 41w 6 days naturally. The labour and birth happened really quick though, i didnt even know i was in labour coz my contractions never got closer that 7 mins apart! so its possible to go weeks, but be prepared for a very quick labour lol
