There are no safe or reliable methods of completely getting rid of gallstones (and, especially, large gallstones) short of surgery.

Hi,

I had a 1.7 cm stone and I tried some natural remedies for a few months but gave up on them.

It started hurting enough to worry me so I had the surgery and I have been very happy with the results. The pain is gone and I can eat a pretty normal diet now.

It's been about 2 months since my surgery. I was back working within 6 days of the surgery and only took the pain killer for 2 days. The surgery was a breeze.

Good luck!

Steve
