club foot action now surgery ct scans its all going on

i was born with club foot in both feet and was realigned by plaster casts when i was a baby however i am now 31 with endless problems!
i have had a normal childhood and even managed to join the army however 5 years ago i broke my navicular and cuboid and had lots of stress fractures to my metartarsels(? correct spelling?) i have since broke the same boke 3 times since then and have had nothing but problems with athritis and general living! i have been getting hydrocortisone injected into my ankle joint for around a year and a half now! but it has got to the stage where it does not really help!
i went to see a surgeon and has told me im facing salvation surgery to lenghten my achillies tendon and a triple fusion on my ankle but it is ment to take the pains away so i cant wait
im due to have a ct scan on tuesday so what happens then?
what kind of time frame till surgery takes place?
im just living in pain and want as normal painfree life as possible!
