Hey girls...im only 7 wks and 2 days...but ive noticed my pants that are normally a little loose around my hips/belly i now have to unbutton just to feel comfortable. My dh has even noticed! My neighbor told me since im smaller that this is normal...but i thought when your little nothing would happen until your further along??? And if anything i have been eating less b/c im never hungry and i feel sick all the time. I havent lost or gained weight...ive stayed the same. Why do i feel like my pants are shrinking even though i havent gained any weight?!? Thanks girls!!!!!

It is probably the early pregnancy bloat. I'm on the smaller side and I didn't start showing until I was about 24-26 weeks.

It's probably just bloating. Your uterus is still tucked behind your pubic bone & the baby is still tiny-weeny so you won't start properly showing for a few weeks yet.

The bloating is caused by gas - ugh, the dreaded early pregnancy gas and other digestive nightmares that go along with being pregnant. It is really normal. Drink a lot of water and get plenty of exercise. Both these will help with the bloating.

no Sad
the nurse that did our ultrasound scan said they arent allowed to reveal the sex, but we said we would really like to know, so she then said she would have to talk to the supervisor and said the results of the sex would be on the u/s results. when we went for our follow up appt. they weren't there. So she might not have gotten the ok, or just couldnt see very clearly.
However, when she showed us the legs of our baby, we think we saw little boy bits. It could have been the cord, but we're thinking its a boy. Smile
They said i would not have another u/s unless there was something wrong with the baby or me.
I like that its a surprise though:)

If you really wanted to know the sex of the child, you could probably pay out of pocket for a private ultrasound or a 3d ultrasound. Just thought I'd mention that.

krystine that really sucks they were not able to tell you! I know i wouldnt be able to wait until my little one popped out! Im only a little over 7 wks and cant wait till i find out the sex!!!! ( we think its a boy, just a feeling!) One my dh's cousins is having her 2nd baby and she didnt find out the sex with either child. And like Aya said...you could pay out of pocket, if you still wanted to know. I want to try that 3d ultrasound, they said the best time to do that is when your between 24 and 28 wks. So i still have a while lol
Yea i been using hair ties to tie around the button loop rosie . lol

bloating! god all 4 my u/s were wrong.. all drs said "95-100% sure its a girl" out came a boy so w/e. no fear there tho... most u/s are right, my drs were just idiost lol. if your small why not want to be bigger? i'm 5'7 and weighed 105 pre-pregnancy... during my pregnancy i gained 50 pounds... (thats when i finally looked normal), wouldnt u wanna gain weight to look really good if ur small? plz dont take offense (most women think thin is in, and sexy but then again look whats causing the issue... its called celeberties and TV) freakin ridiculous! who ever decided a size 0 is sexy is retarted. i want a size 14.. then ill be smexy! =)

newmommy, im not a size zero. Im a size 6 and im 5'0. I have no problem gaining weight, its just diff seeing my tummy pooch out when its always been flat. its just diff. and uncomfortable that my pants are starting not to fit right at almost 8 wks preg. And honestly at 5'0 i really dont think i would be comfortable with my body if i was a size 14. That would make me overweight for my height. Overweight is not healthy.

newmommy, i dont think that its really all celebrities and TV making people want to be thin. This is also achieving a healthy weight. And for some they might be a little smaller than others, which mean their a healthy weight. If some weighed more, for their height and body size it could do damage to their health.
Celebrities push for the anorexic thin approach. Which is not a healthy lifestyle at all.
But for some, a size 0 is their healthy size. My best friend is 5'3 she is a size 0 [but might have gone up a size because she's using BC now] and her weight was 98/99lbs. That is her healthy weight. She's also a vegetatian. Doctors say she is healthy, shes very active and eats very well. Her gene pool are thin and fit too.

Not everyone's ideal size and weight is going to be a size 14.

ya it kind of sucks that i dont get to find out, but i kind of like that i get a surprise as to what the sex is Smile Im going to be happy with whatever i get.
So i dont think i'll swipe a few dollars under the table to have them find out for me lol
I wanted to try that 3D ultrasound too, but its kind of pricey. My fiancee and i talked about maybe getting it done for our first, but decided not to, it would be really cool though. LOL i'd be watching the DVD they give you of the ultrasound everyday if i had it done!
