Q: Cloth diaper question?

I have been the cloth diaper brand Bum Genius. My son is a heavy wetter at night and I have just been using 2 inserts. I invested in some doublers, so I don't have to continue using the inserts of other diapers, but they seem thinner. Does anybody else use Bum Genius doublers? Should I use 2?
