Me & My Husband have been trying to conceive for about 10 months now and i uses clomid this month and still havent ovulated clomid was 50 mg and i took it on cycle days 1 - 5 and i was wondering if you must take clomid each month for 5 days each month how do you know if you are pregnant or not if there is not enough time in between the cycle to test for pregnancy and i have to be put on provera 10 day pill to make me have a period and if i was to conceive and didnt know it then it could kill the fetus so my question is how am i suposed to know if i am pregnant before my next cycle to take clomid again because you dony ovulate until the 14th day of your cycle and then that only leaves a few days before the next cylce of clomid how can i tell if i am pregnant before then please someone let me know because if i dont take clomid when i am suposed to and wait to find out if i am pregnant then it will mess up the cycles...

You can test for pregnancy using a urine-based home pregnancy test. This is probably the best way to know if you should take another dose of Clomid, or not. More information follows...

Clomid, or Clomiphene, comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day for 5 days, beginning on or about day 5 of the cycle. It sounds like you don't understand how to use Clomid as your doctor prescribed it, so ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take clomiphene exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
