Infertility Answer A4275
You only need to take Clomid (clomiphene) 5 days in a row. The exact time is not so important. You also need to have intensive sexual intercourse around the time of ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs 5-10 days after you start taking Clomid. The precise date of ovulation can be determined by measuring the body temperature every morning or by using ovulation predictor strips every day. Body temperature slightly rises several hours after ovulation and ovulation predictor test-strips predict the ovulation several hours before it happens.

If ovulation doesn’t occur after 3 courses of therapy or ovulation happens but without conceiving further treatment with Clomid is not recommended and re-evaluation of the diagnosis is required.
You may want to consult your gynecologist about this.
