i am 19 years old ( will be turning 20 very soon). i have been going to the gym for about 2 years now. since last year i have this very weird problem my trapezoid sort of clicks when ever i workout my back.

let me give a full detail on what happens. every time i have my arms by my pants pocket( or any time by my side) and i try to stretch my shoulder back there is a clicking sound.

now i tried to sit down the other day and find out where this sound comes from by feeling the vibration of the clicking and it seems that it comes from around my neck
the right where the shrugs are. u can feel the clicking right where the spine meets the upper part of the shoulder blade, under the shrug around that area.

i donot know what i have but i have to get it fixed asap. i hope i have not injured any muscle but if i have please tell me ways that i can fix it. also this clicking noise doesnt hurt unlike many people said. also some one i know said that it might be arthiritis i donot know what to do.

PS i do have a doctors appointment booked for next week.
