I dont really know but i have a similiar sort of thing, but is a constant beep instad of clicking. You might have tinnitus(however its spelt) because those are some of the noises it creates. Im not sure if any of this has helped (or is right ). Just search tinnitus on the internet and see if its similar to the problems your facing.
