I have had fluid build up in my ears for several years. One doctor used a device to kind of suction fluid out of my ears---but later this problem returned. I have used antibiotic ear drops but it has not helped.

Recently I developed an eye infection that also has not responded to antibiotic drops. My upper and lower eyelid are puffy and red. this is not allergies. I am not an allergy prone person. I think the eye and ear problems are related.

Could it be some kind of yeast or fungal problem? The doctors I have seen are clueless. They give me antibiotics that just do not clear this up.

Does anyone have ideas or suggestions what this is or how to clear it up?

Thanks for your help.

I don't think the eye and ear problems are related. Sounds like your eye is infectd but your ear is not.
I doubt that the ear fluid problem is caused by an infection because, if it was, you would be experiencing pain as well. A simple recipe for rinsing the fluid out of your ears is equal parts of vinegar and water- make sure the water is lukewarm, not cold. My allergy doctor told me to do this years ago and it works great for me.
Are you on any kind of allergy medicine? My fluid in the ears is caused by my allergies so a good allergy medicine can help to alleviate the problem as well.
