Q: clavicle incision post op recovery

I had a clavicle incision on Mar 09 and had about half an inch of clavicle removed.
I am a postman and have been off work for 4 weeks now and it still seems to be giving me pain. It seems as if the pain has moved across to the very top part of my arm instead of previously the shoulder. The skin feels as if i have sunburn and it's sore even with clothes rubbing over it. My question is will this pain disappear and when will this sunburn sensation go away. The wound is not infected the doctor checked that and how long am i expected to be off work in recovery. I have had this problem for a year before surgery and i just cant seem to feel this getting any better.

Clavicle Removal
I had my clavicle removed on 1/30/09. I still have the burn and losing feeling in my fingers. I type and having trouble with pain management and losing feeling in my fingers. I was told that a constant pain is possible, but I'm not sure of the intensity for the duration.

Clavicle Plate and Screws
I had surgery to repair my shattered clavicle in Feb 2009, for the first 2 months the skin was cold to touch and i lost sensation in all the skin around the incision and down my left arm. Now the burn has aches 24/7 and my fingers are still going numb. My doctor never warned me about this. It sucks!
