Apologies in advance for the elongated message, I didn't want to leave anything out.
I've experienced several different symptoms, which could be described as classic symptoms of diabetes for the past 4 months. I'm 21 and pretty healthy, I hardly have sugar, and I try and eat well.
I've had chest pain, which usually is centered right over my heart, as well as pain in my arms, back, and soreness in my legs and thighs, like I've been running uphill. The chest pain comes in quick bursts while the others seem to last a little longer.
I also experience tingling in my hands and feet, which occasionally go up to my elbows and calves. This is almost always with dizziness, and pressure on my forehead. Also a little pressure on the left side of my head, near the front, like a vain is throbbing. I tend to see floating spots often.
I also feel abdominal pain often, usually right after eating, or even not eating for awhile. The pain seems to be focused in a different area every time. I occasionally get nauseous and almost throw up.
When I engage in physical activity of any kind, my heart tends to race, even for fairly mundane activities, like walking. When I engage in more strenuous activity, I'll check my heart rate, and it will even skip a beat occasionally, with a thumping feeling in my chest.
I've been to a few doctors since May, and I have had several bloodtests, and an EKG. My glucose levels always come back as normal. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help is much appreciated.
