My dad was diagnosed in july 2008 with Cirrohsis. Last month we were told he has liver cancer. The tumor is 11.5 cm and has already spread to his spleen, lymph nodes, and lungs. He started taking Nexavar 3 weeks ago since then he has been severly dehydrated and this past week he has had alot of lower back pain, not urinating but maybe once or twice and day, loss of appetite, naseau. and his blood work 4 days ago was all out of whack. after 3 days of fluid they finally got his sodium level to 124 from 120. I know you cant answer all my questions but do you have any idea how much longer I have to spend with my dad? I can't believe this is happening, this disease is so fast and horrible! I know I don't have long - I could never have long enough!
