My friends husband has been recently hospitalized due to vomiting blood. he has now gotten pnemonia from the ventilator, and on top of that diagnosed with hepatitis C. They say he's in the late stages of cirrhosis of the liver. What are his chances and what does she have to prepare herself for in the long run. He is still on the ventalater (13 days now) but finally awake and alert. I just want to be there for her and prepare her for a long hard road ahead any advise or common stories???
