I'm 17, and I didn't even know 4skins are suppose to come back, until last year. Because of this, I have horrible phimosis. I tried stretching for a month, then when I felt it was possible to masturbate, I did. After I masturbated, my foreskin did not go back over the head, it stayed back. I went to the hospital 3 days later because it was swelling up BAD right b4 the head. It was the worst pain I ever felt when the dick doctor put the lube on mine, and pulled it back in about 10 minutes. Since then, I have went to my family doctor, and he said pretty much my only option was circumcision. The actual dick docs said it was the only thing possibly and were awfully eager for me to book an appt. for circumcision- This pissed me off because they are from some other country(some sandy one, haha not being racist, I dunnno), and I know circumcision was done a lot in sandy countries because sand would get in and cause infections.

So, on Monday, it happens. I'm scared for my penis, but I know if it goes well, my situation will be much better than now. I will be put to sleep, they will do the surgery in about 10 minutes, and I will wake up later. It'll be bandaged up.

My penis head looked awesome the one time I actually got to enjoy seeing it at it's largest, but it seems like my penis will be smaller-looking w/o the foreskin? How far back do they cut?

I dunno guys, this just sucks for me, so I'd apreciate if you told me about this.

PS. I should ask them if I can keep my foreskin as a souvenir hahhaha.

K, I'll be back in a bit- gonna watch circumcision videos.

Is there no way around this? Did you get a 2nd and 3rd opinion and from what specialist, other than 'dick doctor' & family doc?

Can you just put the lube on and get it back to where it belongs like the doctor did?

Just those two opinions, but the family doctor is a very well-known, great doctor. Family Doc. said I could try to stretch more, but I'd have many problems, and I'd always be doing that sort of stuff.

And no, I was trying to get it back for 2 days, and HAD to go. They put some crazy stuff on it too loosen it, but it WAS the worst pain of my life, and that's saying something.

Oh, and two urologists said it had to be done, to be exact. haha

Thanks a lot Zig.

It may be too late for the original poster, but for any others in a similar situation, it is common to treat phimosis by applying a steriod cream and/or by doing simple skin stretches. In a few weeks, the problem is solved, permanently. This is an article describing non-surgical options: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phimosis. A Google search will turn up more.

Also, be aware that many adults who undergo circumcision after they have been sexually active notice a decrease in sensitivity. Many seek foreskin restoration to try to regain what they lost from circumcision.

Before undertaking any surgery, it is always advisable to thoroughly research your options.
