Chronic Tension Headache
Posted: 04-13-08 05:06am

Hi. I've been suffering with chronic tension headache for atleast 10 years. I have a moderate pain that usually starts from the moment i wake and gradually increases as the day goes on. The headache can be aggravated by any stress, excersise, bright lights and also using a computer. I have tried many different medications and therapies with little progress. I also struggle with anxiety and depression which i do think is hightened by the headaches. The pressure from the headaches causes me to feel off balanced and dizzy. These symptoms have a huge affect on my work and social life. Fortunately i have some great friends who have been very supportive. From what i've read tension headaches appear to be a grey area in medicine. I personally believe its linked with tension in the neck and shoulders.
If anyone is aware of any remedies for this issue please let me know. Thanks.

Hi
I mentioned this in another thread. Have you been checked for vitamin deficiencies? Some people lack certain vitamins even if you take them your body may not absorb them properly which can lead to some other problems, such as headaches, anxiety, vertigo, etc..
