Years ago, back in 1996 i got very, very sick. I was 15 years old and finished field hockey camp at noon. by nine that night i was colder than i'd ever been in my entire life and it was the last week of july. from the first chills everything spiraled down hill. i couldn't eat without getting sick, couldn't get warm, and couldn't stay awake. and when i was awake I was hallucinating about what was going on around me. I was like that for a month, and lost around 20 lbs. even though the illness came on lightening fast, within one hour, it took me a long time to get better, several months. the doctors were never able to diagnose it. they took countless vials of blood, but everything came back fine. i just eventually recovered.
since then i've had problems here or there. i still get cold very quickly and often bring hoodies with me wherever i go, even in the summer. through high school i suffered from chronic, debilitating headaches and had CAT scans done but nothing was ever found. in my senior year of college the severe cold and fatigue came back, basically all the symptoms I had in 1995. I was afraid it was happening again, but this time it only lasted for about a week and i recovered after a little less than 3 weeks. i also suffered from chronic strep throat all through college and was diagnosed with Asthma my senior year.
A year and a half ago the glands in my throat began to swell and haven't gone down. I've had severe soar throats and over the past 7 months I've been getting worse. I've had severe back and neck pain, and prescribed pain medicine has done little to help. I've developed a persistent cough and have lost some of my hearing. my eye sight has also begun to worsen, though i've always worn glasses. My wrists have recently begun to weaken, and my right hand cramps to the point where I cant use it. My right arm was numb for over a week, but that symptom has since gone away.
I've gone over all this with countless doctors and specialists and none seem to know what's going on. all medical tests come back as normal, but I know something's wrong. The only way i can describe it is i feel very old, but i'm only 28.

I hate to say it but it really can be stress or anxiety. Depression can cause these symptoms too. Is something your doctors have mentioned to you? Have you considered this since all tests have come back normal. Have you had your sugar tested? Your thyroid? Have you been tested for Lupus? Do you eat healthy? Do you exercise? These are all things you need to take into consideration.
