My husband was recently diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. He has always been a heavy drinker, I hate to say. And I knew this day was coming, unfortunately. He was very sick for a couple of weeks prior to his diagnosis...but then he suddenly improved almost overnight. In fact, this morning he said he felt great and wasn't having one symptom whatsoever.

Is it normal for these lapses to occur? Could it be that the docs were wrong about this being chronic?

I'm very confused about this because now he seems fine. I know he was diagnosed following a CT scan, so probably hard to make a mistake on that..but I'm hoping perhaps they did.

Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
