I am completely falling apart. I am 48 yrs old and so sick every day of my life that I can hardly get going. Chronic aches and joint pain all over, headaches, brain fog, I get shaky, sweaty, and weak AFTER eating quite often, irregular bowel movements, heat intolerant, shortness of breath with the slightest activity and hard to get deep breaths sometimes, I get very weak and burning in my muscles like one would from exercising by just doing the slightest housework chores (ex: folding laundry), I wake up every morning feeling so very tired and not rested and upon getting out of bed I always have severe pain all over just trying to make it to the bathroom (I have a good mattress-sleep#bed), awake with a headache at least 4 times a week, and I experience excessive sleepiness during the day. Many of these conditions are present every day and all are several times a week! I try to exercise by walking, but I feel so bad that I can't get myself going, and when I do go for a walk it is usually for only 15 minutes, maybe twice a week. I am overweight from which I am trying to get lose by calorie watching, choosing better food, and juicing several times a day with organic vegetables and fruits. I currently do not have any health coverage so going to the doctor is out of the question right now besides I have already been to doctors dozens of times and explained my conditions with not much help at all. So here I am at this forum to try to get some kind of answers.

Hi

This does sound like CFS but other tests should be done to rule out other conditions but with no health coverage i dont know how your do that i am in the UK.

With CFS diet is important and maybe keeping a diary of what you eat compared to what sx you get maybe helpfull as you mentioned you get weak and shaky after eating.

Its important with CFS to get a balance of pacing resting and relaxation, do a little at a time when you feel well but dont push to much or your end up in a flare.

walking is a good exercise but again build up very slowly also hydrothreapy (gentle exercises in warm water with a qualified physio) is very helpful as your body is supported i have fibromyalgia which they say is a simular if not the same disease but manifested in a different way.

You are doing all the right things with your diet.

Did the dr's not give you any idea what this could be or do any tests?

sorry i cant be of more help.

Good morning,I agree with my good friend Angelsam.. You sound alot like me as well..There is so many autoimmune conditions out there..Have you ever been told you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or Fibromyaliga, Lupus? You may want to look under autoimmune diseaases to get a look at what is out there..

You said you have no insurance-with that being the case can you get on a governemnet program such as Medicaid? I don't know where you live but worth a try..I hope you get answers honey..KD
