Q: Chronic Head Pressure

I have chronic head pressure that only gets better when I lay down. I have had it for about 4 months.

I have no nasuea, no loss of vision, and I have no trouble sleeping. I have a doctor's appointment Monday.

It has been constant for the last 4-5 months. It is not a throbbing headache, just a constant head pressure with dizziness. I had my wisdom teeth removed last week and it made it worse. Any ideas what it might be?

Hi and welcome to ehealth

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the wisdom teeth. Do you feel any sinus pressure or ear pain?

Are you going to your general doctor or oral surgeon next week?

I have been suffering with the same head pressure for about 9 years now.been to the doctor at least 4 to 5 times a year tryin to figure out what is going on.have had a CAT scan for tumors but that came up negative(THANK GOD!)numerous blood tests all came back clean.have tried nasal sprays(prescription/non-prescriptions)have tried every sinus medication under the sun but nothing seems to be working.i have been researching this and so many things from tension headaches to cluster headaches.not sure what to do at this point either but to maybe make an appointment with a neurologist.good luck!

Have you seen an ear nose and throat doctor?
What doctors have you been to?
Have you gone for another opinion?

Sorry for the questions, I'm hoping to help you get some answers..Smile
Don't give up the answer is out there, you will get it even if it takes seeing a few doctors. I will do a bit of research and see if I come up with anything.

I have seen an ear, nose and throat specialist. Did several tests including a test where he runs warm water in your ear for a period of time.Talk about getting dizzy! I was diagnosed with vertigo. They had me start physiotherapy.Did exercises which straightened things out with the vertigo. Now I just have to get rid of this head pressure.I was researching tension headaches(pressure)and it describes alot of the symptoms that i have.
i exercise regularly and eat as healthy as I can afford to right now.thank you for your concern and God bless you!

Head Pressure
I have same thing. For 10 years. I think it is a systematic yeast infection.
