A friend, who appears to have ages 10yrs in 2 months, describes her symptoms thus; After a very stressful month with house problems and physical exertion, she began to feel extremely tired. Sleep did not come as easily as before and she experienced a swelling under her left breast accompanied by pain. She is off her food, losing weight and has pain on her left side. Acute smell, nausea, burning sensation in back as well as her side is causing extreme insomnia and anxiety and weakness. She had hep C in 1981. A blood test, upper endoscopy and asthma tests have showed nothing. I'm sure her symtoms area exascerbated by worry, but she looks very unwell when I've known her to be very active and positive. She has been given a lot of pharmaceuticals which will only be a short term solution. Does this sound like Chronic fatigue syndrome or ME?
