Hello, i had a low grade ear ache for over a year,but ignored it. I then developed abscessed molar that required removal, as soon as the tooth was pulled my ear started throbbing. When i am on antibiotics no ear ache, but with in 10 days the jaw is sore at the site, ear ache, headaches radiating to the brain stem. Dentist is concerned that one of my salivary glands is not expressing saliva,and he felt a lump in my jaw, which is painful. Should i be worried about this? thanks ww

Doctors help, my ear is getting worse, jaw is sore and back of neck. i have no idea what to do?

Its been months now and the growth on my jaw is coming back and i have chronic ear ache, i see an ear specialist in july, i hope its bothering me on that day. area where i had the tooth pulled still bothers me when i brush it. If any have had saliva gland issues, please let me know what you did thanks wanda

Hello, the ear ache sub sided after about 8 months, but it seems that every time i take prednisone for my asthma i develop and abscessed tooth, 2nd one now, with in 24 to 48 hours i have a sever tooth ache. When i told the oral surgeon that the ear doctor said it was "phantom pain" and that he didn;t freeze me enough, he smiled and took it like a man. however my lungs are failing me again and i can;t afford to have a tooth pulled, so i am staying away from the prednisone, my eye sight is also failing me now, they say due to years of prednisone and solumedrol.. so stay tuned!
