I have been experiencing chronic diarrhea
for almost 2 wkeks now. I also have
terrible bowel problems and i have been
stuck in the bathroom with it for 24-48
hours each time. I periodically drink red
gatorades but when i do it just goes right
through me also the same happens when i
eat every few days. Could someone please
let me know what i should do to treat
this?
Many Thanks

Hi and Welcome to ehealth
Have you been on any medication
(antibiotics)?
You should see your doctor or at least
him/her a call.
Does anyone in your family have a history
of IBS, Crohn's or Colitis?

Thanks for the reply
I take manitec on occasions which is a
herbal supplement as well as Prozac an
antidepresant. I also use fleet enemas.
I do have serious bowel troubles and have
been to the doctor many times and had many
tests done but i've been misdiagnosed with
everything including IBS and Chrohns an
have had many tests done.
I have been to the doctor since my first
post but they did absolutely nothing but
run tests and told me to eat more
potassium because my levels where low from
so much diarrhea. I've also switched to
drinking electrolyte water instead of
gatorade but that hasn't done much help
either.
