Hello and welcome to e health forum.

From the description it appears that you may be having a upper respiratory infection, in the form of sinusitis.

You may need a consultation with your doctor for a examination and tests including complete hemogram, Xray or a CT of the paranasal sinuses, chest Xray (to rule out bronchiectasis, Asthma, or COPD, etc).

Proper medications including a course of antibiotics, and supportive medications may help to reduce your symptoms.

In the mean time, you might get relief with use of cough lozenges , vitamin C supplements and OTC cough medications.

Asthma, cough and greenish mucus ???
I developed a sudden sore throat after being exposed to rainy weather one week ago. After taking mega doses of Vit C along with zinc and echenea the sore throat went away but I have been suffering from asthma and a bad cough since. My doctor prescribed a nebuliser treatment with ventolin and a dose of prednisolone when I visited his office which helped a lot. He also prescribed a cough medicine pholocodeine for the cough and a three day course of prednisolone and a ventolin inhaler. I hesitated to take the prednisolone (because I am afraid of steriods) and waited for two days and now I am coughing up greenish colored mucus. Sad I started taking the three day course of prednisolone this morning and it has helped but I would like to get advice as to whether there is anything else I should do to help my condition. I especially am interested in natural remedies. Any advice that is offered would be appreciated!
