Hi,
I am 30 year old male. I am experiencing abdominal pain (right side of the belly button - which some time seem to shift to right lower of the ribcage) for the last 6 to seven months. The abdominal pain is bearable and not severe but dull and always there. I have recently observed small dark blood in my stools. My stool isnt hard and firm.
I also face too much of flatulence or gas, 15 -20 times a day. Passing the gas not necessarily reduce the pain. This behavior almost started with the pain i.e 6-7 months back.
I had got endoscopy and ultrasound done and both didnt reveal anything. I am getting worried that the pain isnt going and blood in stools now may indicate some problem with my colon??
Could you please help?

Regards,
Akshay

"endoscopy" hmm, I had a "colonoscopy" that found I have Chrone's Disiease, symptoms were similar to yours though I wouldn't say exactly the same? I ended up in the hospital for a week because of the abdominal pain. All is well with the Chrone's now, they have good medication for that. You really need to get a second opinion. Chrone's can be fatal if it's not treated.
