Q: Choosing c section ?

personally I would NEVER choose a c-section
its not natural. I only would do it if i was in danger of dying or my baby was

what if your baby was breech? im booked in for a c-section coz his breech, or what if his to big? some woman who arnt in danger cant help having c-sections, i would love to give birth naturly but sometimes it cant happen, even if there is no danger

You are so right MandeeMoo. I hope and pray Im never faced with that choice. But to answer your questions

If my baby was breach I would try to have him/her turned and would try to deliver vaginally with a experienced midwife. A lot of times turning isnt successful though. I would only atempt vaginal delivery if the baby and I were 100% healthy

Most of the time your baby is not too big...unless its like 15 pounds or something. Usually a change in the mothers position gives extra room for a bigger baby (10 plus pounds) Like being in a full squat. Did you know that being in a full squat opens your pelvis by 1/4 of an inch? And laying down flat on your back can create more strain and stress on you and your baby because you not only have to push out but up also because your spine curves up at the end

I dont know...everyone is different. Most of all I would do what felt safe and right for me and my child. Thats what matters in the long run
