So, Last year during winter time I began to get this sharp pin-prick sensation on the back of my neck and head. Then, as it began to get colder and winter progressed I started to get hives all over my torso and forehead.. Usually brought on by stress, anxiety, or simply breaking a minor sweat..

I went to the doctor and she said it was probably stress from my job I had then.. I quit the job, it got warmer, the hives went away..

Now, as winter begins, I feel them coming back.. So, here's my theory on how to beat it; let me know if you've tried this before.

I know it's a disease triggered by irregular thermoregulation and your body freaks out and produces histamine. My cholinergic urticaria must be seasonal, since it occurs only at the onset of consistent cold weather.

So my plan is to intentionally try trigger the urticaria as much as possible through cardio, and sauna / steam room sessions.. Maybe every other day.

in hopes of possibly re acclimating my thermoregulation to the weather, I know this more than likely won't cure it. Maybe i'm thiking it can give me some sort of controll and means of treating it.

Any Ideas?
